some of our reviews

Just had a lovely week in this property with two young children and grandparents. We were so lucky with the weather which made the location even more special. Sat in kitchen each morning having breakfast whilst taking in the stunning view. Totland bay is gorgeous. Tides are a tad eratic so was sometimes tricky to plan when the beach would be accessible for sandcastle building as it's a mix of sand and shingle. We just made our way to Compton Beach on these days. Nearby cafe and restaurant very handy and both offered a reasonable menu and service. Would recommend this house. How great to sit in the lounge looking at and listening to the sea only a few yards away, or to drift off to sleep and wake up with the same sounds and view. The Waterfront restaurant 50 yards away did us proud too. We hardly needed to go out although loved Seaview and Freshwater Bay   -  JoffandGill - June 2017

Our 5th visit to the Beach House - can't beat the location and views, especially the sunsets! Owners are very helpful and make sure everything in place for your holiday, apartment is well equipped and well kept and cleaned. Spacious living areas and good size bedrooms, two with great sea views. Two good restaurants a short walk along the waterfronts.  -  Steve - Easter

Wonderful apartment with the most amazing views. You can hear the sound of the waves as you drop off to sleep. Very comfortable and clean. Well equipped. Those views are to die for and such a quiet little promenade position. Lovely restaurant 200 yards along the prom. A real gem.Wonderful apartment with the most amazing views. We had a great stay in the Beach House apartment. The location was fantastic - watching the ever changing sunsets at night was amazing The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable - although we only used 2 of them for our party of 4 Lounge/kitchen area was huge and had everything we needed We visited the Waterfront pub for a couple of evening meals - a very short walk away - and the standard of food was very good, although the service was rather slow So many places to see and visit but would definitely recommend Carisbrooke Castle, Brading Roman Villa and the steam railway - you're never too old for the latter! Definitely would recommend the apartment.   -   George Tyne and Wear - June 2018

The apartment was very spacious & comfortable and I loved the sea view from my bedroom, it is also a great location with the beach on the doorstep and a great restaurant on hand. Also very handy to get to & from the ferry and to see different site seeing places.   -   Pam S - June 2018

We booked the large ground floor apartment so that all the family could enjoy a holiday together. The layout was perfect for us as grandparents and our two sons and their families two children aged 8 and 6 and one with a 5 month old baby. The outside space and Beach Hut was an added bonus. The walks were lovely, safe and exhilarating at times. We loved our week on the Island and found plenty to keep both the adults and children occupied.   -     Maps500602 - August 2017
